Recently I purchased an UNO32 board and decided to play around with the idea of integrating it with my Open-Robot platform. I like the idea of an open source board and one based on a PIC32. It was very easy to get the board working and the MPIDE is easy to use as well.
I've attached a short video of Open-Robot driving around using the UNO32.

Nice avoidance!
What sensors are you using?
Maybe you could post some stills, and a peek at the code?
Thanks!

Sorry, but I have not been on the forum for some time. To answer the first question below.
are you using PWM to drive the motors?
Yes I am using PWM to drive the two GM-8 gearmotors. I used a Toshiba h-bridge from Pololu. http://www.pololu.com/catalog/product/713
Onto the second question below.
Nice avoidance! What sensors are you using? Maybe you could post some stills, and a peek at the code? Thanks! Alan KM6VV
Alan, I am using a Sharp (GP2Y0D810Z0F ) proximity sensor from Pololu because they've soldered it to a nice carrier PCB. http://www.pololu.com/catalog/product/1134 You can find additional information on my website if you're interested. www DOT abotics DOT com

Thanks for the URL. I've seen it before. Too bad they don't make one with a miniature connector, rather then the DIP-like pins. However, they are closer spaced, and it's cheep!
