QT Creator as IDE

Where is the info on using QT Creator as the IDE for downloading onto the board and compiling?

I've been using qt creator for the c++ classes and then opening the sketch in the arduino ide to compile and upload it, i would love to avoid this step

I don't know if anyone has done this yet, but we have been talking about it around our shop. If you find an effort that has already been attempted please let me know. I use QT Creator when coding for chipKIT now then compile in MPIDE. I don't think it would be much work to get this going, but I don't have time.
