chipkit network how write usb pendrive

Hi, I'm trying to write data to a file via USB on a Pendrive. I took the example of Chipkit USBHIDHOST Network Shield. The technical documentation specifies that to use as USB Host need external power. I selected REG position on JP1 in the Chipkit Max32, because the power supply is more than 5v . I select Host in JP4 of the Network Shield. But i can't write in the pen drive. The led of the Pendrive doesn't flashing. Can you help me?

Sorry i used the USBMSDHost not the USBHIDHOST

I change the pen drive and it worked, sorry.
