chipKIT control gs8208

I have some GS8208 led strip,it's new 12v addressable led strip,i want to control it by chipKIT,can i use ws2812b library for it?is anybody have some experience for it?

Looks like the same protocol as WS2812B at first glance. Try PICxel.

Thanks,yes gs8208 has the same protocol with ws2812b,i heard that sk6813 led come out,can it use the same protocol?
