Win7 recognizes chipKIT MX 7 Pro is recognized as a HID device

My Win 7 Asus Notebook recognizes the chipKIT MX 7 Pro only as a HID device. Can dial in MPIDE no Serial Port. But on the Win 10 desktop PC it is running without problems. Load drivers and uninstall was not successful. Can someone help me with this problem? Thank you for any advice.

It's got to be a driver related issue. If you've tried uninstalling and re-installing the drivers, that's the only thing I'd have to suggest. I think you should contact Digilent tech support - they may have more experience solving this type of problem.
