Chipkit debugger/programmer MPLABX licensed debugger not found

Hi,

I'm kind of a newbie, I'm taking a microcontrollers course at university, and we're using a PIC32, Uno32 board. We are also using MPLABX and a Licensed Debugger/Programmer ([url]https://www.digilentinc.com/Products/Detail.cfm?Prod=chipKIT%20PGM[/url]). I'm using the Mac version of MPLABX and I am unable to debug using the debugger because "Licensed debugger not found" although it is connected and powered and I tried the same debugger on a Linux computer and it works. Any idea why my computer doesn't recognize the debugger?

It sounds like the drivers for Mac were not loaded.

Which version of MPLAB X are you using?
