Fubarino SD to PC comms difficulty

I have spent two weeks trying to get my Fubarino SD to talk to my VB.NET terminal program on the Win7 PC without success. The SD receives but appears not to send. However, it does 2-way comms with the freeware "Realterm". Jacob has just (16/11/14) contacted me to suggest that the solution is to set the serial port DTS and RTS properties to "true", not the default "false" in VB.NET. This indeed works and I can now charge ahead and build all sorts of instruments around the SD. It's fast! Thank you Jacob. R
