What shields can the WF32 support?
Wed, 09 Oct 2013 20:38:01 +0000
The header arrangement on the WF32 is similar to the Uno32 and the Arduino Uno, so many of the shields that work for those two boards should work with the WF32.
As far as chipKIT shields are concerned, the WF32 can physically support the Basic I/O Shield, Motor Shield, and Uno32 Protoshield. You could use the WiFi Shield on it too, but it would give you features that are already included on the board. The Pmod Shield-Uno is NOT supported on the WF32.
If you use any of these shields with it, note that the shield pinouts are only given for the Uno32 and Max32, and there will be some differences for the WF32. Also note that the libraries for these shields were written before the WF32 was developed and do not support it.
