Repeated start condition, i2c

Hi, i just bought a chipkit max32. I was working on a university project with biometric sensor. I was using an Arduino and MBED but I realized that they both had too less ram, so I was stucked with the project. So i bought the max32, because 128K of ram were sufficient.

But now i have a board with VERY OLD libraries (compared to Arduino or MBED), and i can't nomore interact with the sensor due to the lack of the Repeated start condition of the i2c.

How can i do? Someone developed these new libraries??
