I bought the chipKit Max32 from Digilent and in the MPIDE Board option there are two choices for the Max32; MAX32 and MAX32-USB for Serial. Can someone explain the difference and which one I should select?
Thanks - Mark.

MAX32 uses the FTDI for serial communication over USB
MAX32-USB for Serial uses the processors internal USB for serial but it comes out different wires than are on the jack on a MAX32 so you would need to make the connections manually or use a shield that already has them like the Network Sheild

Thanks, that helped. I did a search on FTDI and found more good info.
